They separated because they had different ways of living of lives. That doesn’t mean he’s a villain in her story. Even Taylor doesn’t show a lot of hate for him in TTPD.
Was he the inspiration for Gorgeous and Delicate song? I always picture him that as in "color blue eyes". But yeah, I agree. I think she had this calm and soft aura when she was together with Joe. Her state of mind always showed in her songs and those songs are some of her best in my opinion. Joe was humble and maybe too soft for her. I think that's why they're not a match, but he was definitely the one she needed in those terrible times.

Gorgeous and delicate were deffo inspired by Joe, reputation is mainly love songs about him. Exactly, people forget all he did for Taylor sometimes.
